Our History

In 2012, a need was identified in the greater Huntsville area for a qualified and experienced tree care company.  In response, Bama Bob Tree Service was formed.  Over the next 10 years, Bama Bob Tree Service became known for excellence in tree care throughout the Greater Huntsville area.  In November of 2021, the company changed ownership and became Bama Bob Tree Service powered by Banyan.

Bama Bob Tree Service powered by Banyan carries on the proud tradition of professional tree care.  We are a company founded on the principles of excellent customer service, safety, integrity, and sustaining one of our greatest resources: trees.

Bama Bob’s Tree Service provides the best solutions for our customers and their trees.  As members of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), our tree specialist are required to earn continuing education units to maintain certification, and more importantly, to keep current with new and changing techniques and equipment.  We also subscribe to various industry magazines to stay abreast of current events in our industry.

We have “best in class” liability, health, and worker’s comp insurance to protect both our customers and our employees.

Bama Bob’s goal is to ensure each job is done safely, efficiently, and effectively.  To provide advanced tree care capabilities, we have invested in the latest equipment, which includes the latest lift systems and low-impact material handling equipment.  We also employ our own crane that can handle jobs of all sizes including large and specialized removals.

But not everything is about simply removing or trimming a tree.  At Bama Bob, we also want to focus on the long-term health and beauty of your trees and property.  Your trees should provide generations of enjoyment, value, and comfort.  We are proud to offer services including tree nutrition, disease control, and insect control to keep your trees healthier and stronger for many years to come.
